How long is a standard rental?+

Base rental is 5 hours. You can extend at checkout:

Party All Day (+20%): Extended hours — great for full-day summer parties.
Party All Night (+40%): Overnight rental with pickup after 8am the next day. Requires a secure/gated location.
Add Sunday for 50% off: Rent Saturday at full price, add Sunday at half price. Same delivery, same setup, double the fun.

What do I need to set up a water slide?+

Water: A standard garden hose — we bring the connector.

Power: One standard household outlet (110v) within 100 feet. Setting up at a park? Ask about our generator rentals — most parks don't have accessible outlets.

Space: Every product page lists exact dimensions (Width × Length × Height). Add 3 feet of clearance on each side. Watch for overhead tree branches and power lines — our tallest slides reach 24 feet.

Surface: Grass is preferred (we stake it down). We also set up on concrete (concrete anchoring is limited and available first-come first-served — message us to confirm availability).

Can adults use the water slides?+

Absolutely — our larger slides like the 24' Dual Lane Wipeout, Purple Tropics, and Turbo Blaze are built for kids AND adults. Weight capacity varies by unit; each product page lists specifics.

We always recommend keeping similar-sized riders going at the same time — a 4-year-old and a 200-lb adult shouldn't share a lane. Adults ride at their own risk and should follow all posted safety guidelines.

What if it rains on my rental day?+

Our Zero-Risk Weather Policy: if the forecast shows heavy rain or sustained winds over 20 mph on your event day, you can reschedule for a different date at no charge OR get a full refund. Just let us know by the night before.

Can I set up a water slide in a public park?+

Yes — E&J Funday is a pre-approved vendor at most Sacramento-area parks. You'll need to reserve your park space first and typically pay a park fee. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming the park as additionally insured at no extra charge.

Important: Most parks don't have accessible outlets — plan for a generator rental. A single-blower slide needs a small generator; larger dual-lane slides (Wipeout, Purple Tropics) require 2 blowers each pulling about 11 amps.
